Error: Can't Play DISC is displayed after stopping and then attempting to restart playback.

This error message may occur if you began playing a disc without first completing the Easy Setup procedure. Make sure you have completed the Easy Setup procedure as described in the instruction manual. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

This also may be an indication that the Blu-ray Disc® player requires a firmware update. Downloads are posted on your model support page.

NOTE: If your computer is equipped with a DVD burner and compatible burning software, you can download and then burn your own update disc on a DVD-R or DVD-RW disc.
