How to reset the BIOS password.
The password can only be reset by a technician at a Sony® Service Center. If the password being entered does not work, ensure the CAPS LOCK key has not been pressed, or if the password includes numbers, the NUM LOCK key has been pressed.
NOTE: The NUMBER keys above the letters on the keyboard will work regardless of the status of the NUM LOCK key.
If the password still does not work or if the password is not known, arrange to have the computer serviced.
