Tokyo, Japan — Sony will sponsor IROS 2022, the world's largest international conference on robotics technologies, from October 23 to 27, 2022 in Kyoto, Japan, offering exhibits introducing some of its latest research efforts in the area of AI and robotics technology, from October 24 to 26, 2022. The Sony booth will include the first public demonstration of "Gran Turismo Sophy™", a racing AI agent developed by Sony AI Inc. and others*. In addition, the booth will introduce a nursing robot and a surgical simulator developed by R&D Center of Sony Group Corporation. The following 17 exhibits will be introduced at the booth, including the latest research and development in the fields of AI and robotics, and robot products with AI.

• *Using the PlayStation 4 software Gran Turismo Sport, it was co-developed by Polyphony Digital Inc., Sony AI Inc., and Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
