Tokyo, Japan - Sony Group Corporation ("Sony") offers its deepest sympathies to the communities affected by the earthquake that struck eastern Taiwan on April 3, 2024.

Sony will donate 15 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society*1 in emergency aid to support relief efforts for communities affected by the earthquake.

Sony Group companies in Taiwan*2 and Sony Electronics Singapore will also collect donations from employees and match the amounts raised.
Furthermore, Sony is united in carrying out additional support activities, such as donating all artist proceeds from the Taipei concert by King Gnu, managed by Sony Music Entertainment (Japan), which was held with the utmost consideration for safety.

Once again, Sony sends its sincerest condolences to all those affected and wishes for a full and swift recovery of the area.
