Sony Holds "Business Segment Briefings" for Top Management from Sony's Various Businesses to Discuss Growth
The Sony Group held the "FY2022 Business Segment Briefings" online over two days, on May 26 and 27. The "Business Segment Briefings" represent an evolution of "IR Day," an annual event targeted primarily at investors and analysts that ran until last fiscal year, and will serve as a forum to share the growth story of each business with a wider range of stakeholders moving forward.
Last week, on May 18, Sony Group Chairman, President and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida took the stage at the "Corporate Strategy Meeting" to explain the Sony Group's management policy from a long-term perspective. At the Business Segment Briefings, seven members of top management from the Sony Group's major business areas (Game & Network Services; Music; Pictures; Entertainment, Technology & Services*; Imaging & Sensing Solutions; and Financial Services) took the stage to discuss each business's mid-to-long term growth story, including market investments and business expansion, value creation through Group-wide collaboration and sustainability strategies to support growth.
