2022 marked the 25th anniversary of the Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA), Sony's annual CSR program in Singapore. Since its inception in 1998, SCSA has impacted over 100,000 students, providing the young generation with a platform to showcase their creativity and love for science through an annual toy-making competition.

Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) celebrated its 10th anniversary this year in Taiwan. In collaboration with the local government and Sony group companies, Sony Taiwan hosts this educational program annually for 3rd to 6th grade students to inspire their curiosity and interest in science.

Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) celebrated its 9th year in Taiwan in 2021. Although the workshops and competition were shifted online due to the covid-19 situation, the innovative spirit of the young creators aged between 9 to 12 years old was very much alive and reflected in their enthusiastic participation and outstanding toys creations.

Sony Taiwan hosted the 7th Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) for children.
"Changing Your Lives!" was the theme of 7th SCSA and the children made science-based toys using household items. They participated in training courses and toy-making, and presented their toy ideas in the final competition and through open exhibitions.
Sony Taiwan and Sony group companies in Taiwan also created excitement through workshops and other activities.

The Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) is Sony's key CSR programme in Singapore and in 2017, we celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Over the past 20 years, 75,000 students have taken part in the competition and over 63,000 toy entries submitted, making SCSA the largest toy-making competition in Singapore.
In conjunction with SCSA, the MESH Workshop was held for the very first time in Singapore.

2017 marked the 5th year of Sony Creative Science Award in Taiwan, a toy-making competition targeting children ages 9 to 12 years old. "How an IC Recorder Works" workshop was conducted for primary school student with age 9-12 years old and at the same time, Sony Malaysia also introduce the "How Noise Canceling Works" exhibition to experience the magic of Sony noise cancelling technology .Total six session of Sony Science Program Workshop was conducted and 134pax of primary school students were participated. The session was fruitful and have the participant went "Wow" with each segment of the program.

Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) is an annual CSR program organized by Sony Group of Companies in Singapore and the Science Centre Singapore, with the support of Ministry of Education.
2016 is the 19th year of competition and it received close to 6,500 toy entries from over 7,200 students.
In conjunction with SCSA, the Sony Science Program headphones workshop was held for 62 students, facilitated by 30 Sony volunteers.
