Emergency and Humanitarian Assistance
In an event of a catastrophe or crisis, Sony seeks to assist humanitarian relief efforts in a manner that benefits the nature of the event and its impact on the region in which it occurred.
In 2016, Sony and NGO Save the Children co-founded "The Emergency Disaster and Recovery Fund for Children". The proceeds pooled to the Fund helps to deploy disaster response activities to children in the affected areas.
