Sony Group Corporation has been included in the CDP's A-List in February 2024, a distinction which recognizes Sony Group Corporation as a leader in efforts to address climate change. This is the third year in a row and the eighth time that Sony has made the A List in the climate change category.
In March 2024, Sony Group Corporation was also included in CDP's Supplier Engagement Leaderboard 2023 in recognition of its climate change initiatives in cooperation with the supply chain.

Backed by investors from around the globe, it conducts surveys on climate change, water security, and forests at private companies, then analyzes and releases the findings of these surveys to the public. This year, CDP surveyed over 23,000 companies globally on behalf of more than 740 institutional investors representing more than 136 trillion U.S. dollars in managed assets. The rating system is a 5-rank scale (A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, D-, F). The A List is made up of the companies awarded the highest performance rank of "A."

Sony Group Corporation has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the "World's Most Ethical Companies" for the sixth consecutive year in March 2024.
